Here's a thought . . . .
Increasingly I am coming across pension providers that claim to be able to offer all the support necessary for an employer to comply with auto-enrolment legislation. What this really means is that the annual management charge of the pension scheme ( paid for by the employees ) will have a factored in fee for support services.Principal 6 of the legislation states that the employer should act in the employee's best interests at all times. Surely passing on the costs to the employee is not in the spirit if not a blatant breach of said principal. After PPI, Mortgage Endowments, Pensions Transfers ...another scandal in the making which will have to be unpicked in a few years times. Wonder who will be picking up the tab for the "free services" then?
